This collection includes application materials, newsletters and other material related to NAPIL's fellowship program.
The NEJl oral history collection is divided into two series: oral history project administrative files, and oral history recordings. The oral history recordings include currently 109 oral history interviews, about two thirds of which have been transcribed.
The collection contains materials from the New York Legal Aid Society related to the Legal Services Corporation. The records range from 1976-the late 1990s. It includes extensive documentation on the collobarative effort in NY State to support the re-authorization of the LSC in the early 1980s.
This collection comprises issues of PAG Update including accompanying mailings; materials covering PAG's 25th and 30th anniversaries, including letters of congratulations from many legal services organizations and individuals; and issues of NLADA Update.
The collection is arranged into five series: 1) background information on the Reginald Heber Smith Community Fellows Program, 1967-1985; 2) original rosters and current information of Reggies by class year; 3) current information about former Reggies, arranged alphabetically; 4) planning materials related to the Thirtieth Anniversary Reunion of Reggies; and 5) Reunion program materials and documentation (includes audio-visual materials, stored separately). A finding aid exists.
This collection comprises articles, reports, and other materials related to legal services. A significant portion of the papers cover the issues surrounding the passage of the Legal Services Corporation Act of 1974.
