Note

King's Bench Reports, 1629-31. Spine title is "Manuscript Reports, King's Bench, 1630-1632." Contains reports from Pas. 5 to Trin. 7 Car. I (1629-31), mostly in the King's Bench. The first case is Jones v. Harris, the last is R. v. Holmes. There is a full report of the habeas corpus case at pp. 24-55, 67-74, 103, 107-108. There are also a few Star Chamber reports. If you turn volume over and reverse it: Reports in the Common Pleas and King's Bench, Mich. 21 to Pas. 21 Jac. I (1623-24), evidently by Heneage Finch (d. 1631), serjeant at law, who refers to himself in the first person in several of the cases. The first item is a detail description of his serjeant's call, with a copy of the writ addressed to Finch. On spine: Vol. 6.
