Note

Constable of Hempstead is commanded to apprehend David Seaman and bring him before Richard Jackson to answer to a complaint sworn against him. Pratt Duryea swore on oath that Mr. Seaman stopped him on the highway, insulted him, demanded money from him, called him a "rascal," and alleged that he had cheated people and Mr. Seaman could prove it. Addendum empowers Pratt Duryea to serve the warrant. Dated 8th of June, 1798 and signed by Richard Jackson, Justice. Writing on back indicates warrant was served by Pratt Duryea.
