This document contains two different items, one on each side. The front of the document contains what appears to be a receipt for cloth purchases. One purchase was made on October 17, 1799 by Richard Jackson of 12 yards of cloth for 10 pence per yard, for a total of £1, 2 shillings, 11 pence. Another purchase was made on November 1, 1800 by Micah Jackson of 25 yards at 11 pence per yard, for a total of £1, 6 shillings, 3 pence. The back of the document contains a receipt for payment to Oliver Post of $3.25 by Micah Jackson, administrator of Richard Jackson's estate. It is dated June 6, 1801.
