Note
Constable of Hempstead is commanded to summons David Jackson to appear before Richard Jackson on the 15th of November at "four of the clock in the afternoon" to answer to Thomas Cannon[?], Esq. & Thomas Cole for damages of £10 or under. Dated 5th of November, 1798 and signed by Richard Jackson, Justice. Writing on back details execution of summons by Felix Fowler, Constable. The back also contains the outcome of the case, with a total judgment entered (presumably against David Jackson) of £10, 5 shillings and 9 pence.
