Note

Constable of Hempstead is commanded to summons Thomas Fowler, Jr. to appear before Richard Jackson on the 25th of January at "two of the clock in the afternoon" to answer to Thomas Forabee[?] for damages of £10 or under. Dated 16th of January, 1798 and signed by Richard Jackson, Justice. Writing on back details execution of summons by Felix Fowler, Constable. The back also contains the outcome of the case: "Debt in favour in of plaintiff ñ 13 dollars 12 cents," "£2-0-0."
