Note

Constable of Hempstead is commanded to summons Jacob Powel, son of Isaac, to appear before Richard Jackson, Justice of the Peace, on the 15th of March at "one of the clock in the afternoon" to answer to Benjamin Skinner for damages of £10 or under. Dated 5th of March, 1798 and signed by Richard Jackson, Justice. Writing on the back details the execution of the summons by Felix Fowler, Constable.
