Note
Constable of Hempstead is commanded to summons Alexander MacGriggor to appear before Richard Jackson, Justice of the Peace, on the 7th of October to answer to Jacob Seaman for damages of £10 or under. Dated 26th of September, 1797 and signed by Richard Jackson, Justice. Writing on back details the execution of the summons by Felix Fowler, Constable.
