The constable of Hempstead is commanded to summons Richard Seaman to appear before Richard Jackson, Justice of the Peace, on Friday, 24th of August at "Two of the clock in the afternoon" at the house of the Widow Sarah Seaman to answer to Eliphabet Oakley for damages of £10 or under. Dated 19th of August, 1798 and signed by Richard Jackson, Justice. Writing on back details execution of summons by Felix Fowler, Constable.
