Note

Constable of South Hempstead is commanded to summons twelve "good and lawfull men being freeholders of the Town of South Hempstead" to appear before Richard Jackson, Esq. on Monday, the 1st of February, at "seven of the clock in the afternoon." They should not be kin to Joseph Rock, William Alboon (plaintiffs), or Thomas Farrington (defendant); additionally, they should not have an interest in the suit. Dated 1st of February, 1796 and signed by Richard Jackson, Justice. No jury list is provided on this venire summons.
