Note
Constable of Hempstead is commanded to summons Jacob Huls[?] to appear before Richard Jackson on Thursday, the 15th of November, at "two of the clock in the afternoon" to answer to Thomas Carmon, Esq. and Thomas Cole in an action for damages of £10 or under. Dated 15th of November, 1798 and signed by Richard Jackson. Writing on back details execution of summons by Felix Fowler, Constable. Also written on the back is the result of the case, with a total judgment against Mr. Huls in the amount of £5, 15 shillings, 3 pence.
