Biographical Note

From obituary in the Louisville, KY Courier-Journal:

[Dennis Bricking] was born on March 5, 1942 in Covington, KY and grew up in Southgate, KY. He attended Newport Catholic High School and received his BA and JD from University of Kentucky. After marrying, Dennis moved to Louisville to join the Legal Aid Society as a staff attorney and began a 36-year tenure at LAS, including 30 as director.

Over the years, Dennis became known for his passionate advocacy for Louisville's most needy. He served on the boards of Fellowship Of Reconciliation, New Directions Housing, Project Warm, and the St. John's Center for Homeless Men.
