be Krash is a retired partner who was, for many years, head of Arnold & Porter’s antitrust practice group. He served as counsel for many major companies in a wide range of proceedings. He has been a visiting lecturer at Yale Law School and has served as a Visiting Professor from Practice at the Georgetown University Law Center where he taught constitutional law. Mr. Krash is the author of numerous articles on topics relating to constitutional law, antitrust and trade regulation, criminal law, and federal civil procedure

Scope and Contents

In this interview, Krash recalls Fortas’ defense strategy, and reflected about the impact of the case as one of the landmark cases of constitutional law in the last fifty years. At the same time, he emphasized that “all of the hopes that we had have not been fulfilled.”
