The collection consists of court documents, newpaper clippings related to the trial and gay rights, oral history project materials and interviews, as well as LAGA student organization materials.
For over twenty years Professors Richard H. Chused and Wendy Webster Williams taught a seminar in Gender and American Legal History at Georgetown University Law Center. Their students produced a wealth of scholarly work, and the hundreds of papers in this program cover a large array of subjects in the legal history of gender from the founding days of the Republic through the 1970s.

The George Yamaoka Collection includes Proceeding Transcripts, Defense documents, indexes, Proceedings in Chambers transcripts, correspondence, exhibits and rejected exhibits from the Tokyo War Crimes Tribunal produced and handled by the Defense Team. The collection also includes bound Congressional Hearings on the attack on Pearl Harbor. A few of George Yamaoka’s personal correspondence files are included. Some of the Defense and other materials are in Japanese.
This collection includes a copy of the script, signed by screenwriter David Rintels, and stills of actors Henry Fonda, John Houseman and Jose Ferrer portraying characters in the film. It was originally shown on CBS as part of the Hallmark Hall of Fame.
