The NEJl oral history collection is divided into two series: oral history project administrative files, and oral history recordings. The oral history recordings include currently 109 oral history interviews, about two thirds of which have been transcribed.
This collection includes photographs from a variety of sources which have been collected and donated to the National Equal Justice Library. Other NEJL collections may also include photographs that are specific to that collection.
The collection contains materials from the New York Legal Aid Society related to the Legal Services Corporation. The records range from 1976-the late 1990s. It includes extensive documentation on the collobarative effort in NY State to support the re-authorization of the LSC in the early 1980s.
