Arrangement

Organized into series: (1) Individuals, arranged alphabetically by last name (2) Class photos - arranged chronologically (3) Buildings - six subseries, one for each campus in the history of the Law Center. Within Campus #6, the current campus, arrangement is by building name. (4) Events - arranged alphabetically by name of the event, subdivided chronologically. (5) Groups - arranged alphabetically by name of the group

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The bulk of the collection was received from the Law Center Communications Office. Images were taken by a variety of freelance photographers, in addition to Georgetown Law staff photographers. When photographer names are known they have been recorded.

Existence and Location of Copies

Many physical photos have been scanned; in addition, large portions of the collection consist of born-digital images which do not exist in print. Use copies of all digital images are available; consult Law Center Archives for access.
