Biographical / Historical

The Library dedicated in 1971 was the Fred O. Dennis Library, located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of McDonough Hall. The library's main reading room was known as the Charles Fahy Reading Room and included a bust of Judge Fahy (Georgetown Law 1912). The library in McDonough Hall was replaced by Williams Library in 1989. The Fahy Reading Room no longer exists as a named space; the Fahy bust resides on the 3rd floor of Williams Library, at the entrance to 3 West.
