Bill from Willit & Obadiah Jackson for purchases made by Richard Jackson. Purchases include: 1 hogshead (123 gallons) of rum, cholate [chocolate], tea, pigen shot [pigeon shot], and cotton. After accounting for some cash payments, total owed by Jackson was £8, 1 shilling. Dated 24th of August, 1771. Unsigned.
Arrest warrant, 1799 March 4
Constable of North Hempstead is commanded to "take the body of" Abel Smith and bring him before Richard Jackson immediately to answer Benjamin Birdsall for damages of £10. Dated 4th of March, 1799 and signed by Richard Jackson, Justice. Writing on back indicates warrant was executed by James Boole, Constable.
