Promissory note, 1798 October 23
Adam Smith and Linnington Smith promise to pay to Richard Jackson, Esq. the amount of $100. They further bind their heirs, executors and administrators to payment of the debt. Dated 23rd of October, 1798. A condition clause at the bottom begins to explain the condition of the promissory note but the writ has been cut off at the bottom. Thus, the terms of the condition are unknown and there are no signatures.
