Scope and Contents
The Research File Material is a collection of materials that were collected by Spewcial Collections to help answer research requests. The collection includes printouts of articles, book chapters, reports, correspondence, announcements, and biographical information. The main topics covered by the collection relate to the history of the Georgetown University Law Centeras well as the various alumni, faculty, students, and staff that have attended the Law Center. The Research Files Materials serve as an overview of these topics and do not contain all information available in Law Center Special Collections.

Collection is arranged by material type. The Biographical Files series is arranged alphabetically by last name.
- Some files and materials within files were removed from the original collection as they did not fit the scope of the collection or included duplicates. Files concerning recruitment for the archives personnel, information on archival/library systems no longer in use (i.e. archon), and other special collections administrative papers were removed.
