Scope and Contents
HARYOU-ACT was a collaboration between Harlem Youth Opportunities Unlimited (HARYOU) and Association Community Teams (ACT). HARYOU was founded by Kenneth Clark in 1962, and sought to increase educational and employment opportunities for young African Americans in Harlem. In the mid-1960s, HARYOU merged with ACT.
